Let It Ride was built the other way. A fan sent us the idea. Followers told us what to add. And there's a small legend printed at the bottom of the back that tells you what the symbols mean, so you can explain your own shirt in one sentence.
Here's the sentence: it can go either way, but you always choose to fly. Icarus flew, and he fell. The smoke on the back rises into a four-leaf clover, and it comes off a crushed cigarette. The shirt shows you both endings. The legend gives its answer, one line at a time, and the bet it's talking about is the one you make on yourself.
What's on the back
Icarus. The winged figure on the left. "Everyone remembers Icarus fell, but at least he dared to fly."
Sisyphus. The figure pushing a boulder, lower left. In the Greek myth, he pushes it up the same hill forever. "One must imagine Sisyphus happy."
The double slit. The physics experiment where light seems to take both paths until someone measures it. "Reality doesn't pick a side until you bet on one, so bet."
The burning eye. Dark determination, top right. "If your heart is wavering... Do not shoot."
The drink and the cigarette. A gambler who bet his mother's soul. "I'll raise you my mother's soul."
A couple of the lines come from anime. Fans will know. Everyone else just sees a great shirt.

The details
- Fit: oversized, with dropped shoulders. A little shorter and wider than a regular tee.
- Fabric: 6.5 oz, 100% combed cotton. Pre-shrunk.
- Build: neck ribbing, shoulder to shoulder tape, double needle hems.
- Color: Bone, a warm off-white.
- Care: machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. Do not iron the print.
